DPT™ — Depolymerization Technology

Waste plastic in. Renaphtha™ and Recalor™ out.

End-of-life plastic is broken back down into recycled oil through a continuous thermal conversion process — five stages, one loop.

Deplastech Energy has pioneered DPT™ (Depolymerization Technology), a proprietary process that transforms hard-to-recycle, end-of-life plastic waste into high-value recycled oil — diverting material from landfill and incineration while displacing the need for virgin fossil resources. This process yields two distinct recycled oils, each engineered for a specific application.

The Process

From feedstock to fuel.

Plastic that can't be mechanically recycled still has value as a hydrocarbon. DPT™ reclaims it.

01

Sourcing

End-of-life plastic, diverted from landfill and incineration, becomes DPT™'s feedstock.

02

Depolymerization

DPT™ breaks the feedstock down at the molecular level, recovering hydrocarbon vapour from waste.

03

Fractionation

The vapour is separated into two distinct streams, each engineered for a specific output.

04

Refinement

Each stream is condensed and refined to specification, ready for industrial deployment.

05

Output

Renaphtha™ displaces virgin naphtha in petrochemical crackers. Recalor™ displaces LDO in industrial thermal applications.

Renaphtha™ feeds back into the wider economy as new plastic. Recalor™ is burned once, as industrial fuel.
What We Produce

Two outputs, one process.

Together, Renaphtha™ and Recalor™ represent Deplastech Energy's commitment to closing the loop on plastic waste and accelerating the transition to a true circular economy.

Renaphtha™

A premium, naphtha-equivalent feedstock oil designed as a direct replacement for conventional fossil naphtha in petrochemical crackers, enabling the production of new, circular, virgin-quality plastics.

Recalor™

An energy-grade recycled oil suited for industrial thermal and boiler applications, offering a lower-carbon alternative to Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and other conventional furnace fuels.
